Today was the first official day of the new glass project. After months of juggling and re-planning, most everything seems in order, and 'll hopefully be finishing up and inking the initial cartoon by the end of the week. Then, we'll be demolishing the brick wall and framing in the dimensions for the rose window.
More progress as it happens.

Congratulations! A Celtic art rose window six feet wide is a commission to die for. I'm sure you will find it well within your capability, but here's wishing you the very best of Irish, and more power to your elbow!

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the commissions all fell through at the last minute possible. I'll save the cartoon, though -- maybe they'll find incarnation somewhere down the line.
